چکیده

We provide two axiomatic characterizations of the kernel of TU games by means of both bilateral consistency and converse consistency with respect to two types of 2-person reduced games. According to the first type, the worth of any single player in the 2-person reduced game is derived from the difference of player’s positive (instead of maximum) surpluses. According to the second type, the worth of any single player in the 2-person reduced game either coincides with the 2-person max reduced game or refers to the constrained equal loss rule applied to an appropriate 2-person bankruptcy problem, the claims of which are given by the player’s positive surpluses. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classifications : 91A12

Power allocation rules under fuzzy behavior and multicriteria situations

In this paper, we adopt supreme-utilities among fuzzy level (decision) vectors to propose a power allocation rule, its efficient extension and normalization in the framework of multicriteria fuzzy transferable-utility (TU) games. We also provide several axiomatic results to present the rationality for these rules. Based on different viewpoints, we introduce different formulations and dynamic re...

A note on equivalence of consistency and bilateral consistency through converse consistency

In the framework of (set-valued or single-valued) solutions for coalitional games with transferable utility, the three notions of consistency, bilateral consistency, and converse consistency are frequently used to provide axiomatic characterizations of a particular solution (like the core, prekernel, prenucleolus, Shapley value, and EANSC-value). Our main equivalence theorem claims that a solut...

A Note on an Axiomatization of the Core of Market Games

As shown by Peleg (1993), the core of market games is characterized by nonemptiness, individual rationality, superadditivity, the weak reduced game property, the converse reduced game property, and weak symmetry. It was not known whether weak symmetry was logically independent. With the help of a certain transitive 4-person TU game, it is shown that weak symmetry is redundant in this result. He...

The positive Prekernel of a Cooperative Game

The positive prekernel, a solution of cooperative transferable utility games, is introduced. We show that this solution inherits many properties of the prekernel and of the core, which are both sub-solutions. It coincides with its individually rational variant, the positive kernel, when applied to any zero-monotonic game. The positive (pre)kernel is a sub-solution of the reactive (pre)bargainin...
